A Gift To You

Community support has always been important to our family.  Our roots run deep in this area and our ties to it along with how we involve ourselves, remains a top priority.  Living in a rural area does have some challenges, but the benefits far out weight them.  Throughout the years we have been fortunate to establish some great relationships with friends and neighbors through our family-owned business and community involvement.  Our family looks at involvement like it’s an investment -- an investment in the community we serve, choose to live in, and love.  Also an investment to ensure that our grandchildren  will come to appreciate. Our prayer is that they too will grow up with the passion to nurture this area, helping to keep it strong, vibrant and growing.

One area that we are passionate about is health care.  We recognize that a health care system should exist to provide health and healing in the Heartland community, helping those around us experience a more abundant life.  Without that, we would find ourselves traveling out of town, and away from home, to receive the type of care we need to survive.  So began our desire to be part of a health care system that did just that. 

For more than a decade, we have served on boards and supported Florida Hospital Heartland Medical Center in a way that gives us the ability to be the eyes and ears of our community, ensuring that those health care needs are being met.  One area of our focus was the OB department.  Having recently been blessed with two beautiful grandsons, we were introduced to a new and intriguing way to continue to meet the needs of expectant mothers and their families.  Our passion grew as we saw ways we could  bring state-of-the-art technology to our area, in surroundings filled with peace and relaxation.  So began our journey with the Blessed Beginnings Birthing Center.  We believe that every birth is a gift from God, and it’s that gift that we want to ensure is handled with the utmost care.  That type of care that can be found at Florida Hospital Heartland Medical Center in Sebring.
