Congregations with Health Ministry Teams truly become centers for health and wholeness, as they coordinate health information and lifestyle applications within the framework of spiritual care. The goal of health ministry is healthy behavior for all ages and an improved, sustainable quality of life. Health Ministry Teams comprise of Parish Nurses and congregational members work together with the leadership to promote physical, mental and spiritual well-being.

Here's How We Can Help

A Parish Nurse or Faith Community Nurse is a licensed registered nurse call to integrate the skill or nursing, the principles of wellness and the art of spiritual care within the congregation.

A professional nurse who functions as a member of the ministerial team within a church, synagogue, or faith based community; and as such incorporates wholism (body, mind, and spirit) into primary nursing services across the life span of the community, assisting persons to achieve optimal wellness. a Parish Nurse and a Faith Community Nurse are the same. We are a recognized speciality of the ANA and practice under our own scopes and standards.

Monthly Parish Nurse Meetings- 1st Thursday of Every Month
Everyone is invited to join us for these very informative meetings. Registration begins @ 5pm, General meeting with health updates 5:30-6:30pm and Guest Speaker 6:30-7:30 pm UNLESS otherwise noted. Cont. Ed. Hours offerred.
