Over the next year, Florida Hospital Lake Placid is working arm-in-arm with our neighbors to raise more than $250,000 to completely transform the Lake Placid operating room facilities. The Caring Heart Assistance Fund is here to help! This employee supported funding is used to assist hospital employees in times of great need. Through payroll deduction, employees can find great satisfaction knowing that their dollar can make a difference. This year, $4,436.00 has been given! Thank you to those who have reached out to help.

Memorial Bricks |

Memorial Bricks can be purchased in honor or in memory of a loved one, to celebrate the birth of a child, an anniversary, or just a special message. Each brick will be permanently placed in the sidewalk at the campus of your choice. Your generous donation to the Foundation will support our hospitals continued service in healthcare to our community, along with having the opportunity to share your memories with others for years to come.
There is room for 39 letters and spaces over 3 lines, 13 spaces per line, for your Memorial Brick inscription. At the second step of the donation process, you will be prompted to specify if the brick is "in Recognition" or "in Memory" and to enter your desired inscription. Nursing Scholarship Fund - Sebring |

The Scholarship Fund is operated by the Florida Hospital Sebring Foundation Board in partnership with South Florida Community College. This fund is for residents of Sebring only and persons desiring to enter the Nursing field. Students may apply to the Sebring Foundation Board for approval. If selected, the scholarship recipient is eligible for tuition assistance. After completing their courses, the newly graduated nurse will come to work at Florida Hospital for three years. The Scholarship fund is a way to help our friends and neighbors begin an exciting new career while retaining great care providers... in a great hospital... in a great community!

The Florida Hospital Heartland Division is proud to offer their cookbook, From the Heart. This cookbook holds 536 delicious recipes shared by the employees and volunteers at the Lake Placid, Sebring and Wauchula campuses. Included in this cookbook will be a look through time. Each divider shares a photo and biography on Florida Hospital Heartland Division, beginning with the Walker Memorial Sanitarium and Hospital 1948 through today. Each divider features a campus and gives a little history on how that campus was started. It is sure to put a smile on your face when you read the “modern technologies” of their time. From the Heart will be available in all three campus gift shops and through the Foundation office located at Florida Hospital Heartland Medical Center. All proceeds will benefit the Foundation.
