Churches Invited to Creation Health TV Simulcast at Florida Hospital Heartland
As a leader in health care and health ministry for faith communities, Florida Hospital Heartland Medical Center wants to introduce all church members to a new partnership initiative called the Creation Health Church Ministry. This journey to a healthy lifestyle begins with a free, live television simulcast “Imagine” on November 4 (Friday) from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Florida Hospital Sebring’s second floor conference rooms to learn more about it. Seating is limited and a light lunch will be served, so please RSVP to (863) 386-6421.
This unique event is designed to educate, inspire and engage church members, lay leaders and pastors to either develop a health ministry or reenergize existing ones that will inspire people to adopt health lifestyles. This simulcast event includes presentation by faith and health experts and we are told is the first simulcast of its type. The Simulcast Guest Spears are all noted Christian authors: Mike Hyatt, Debbie Macomber, Les Brown, Dr. Dick Tibbits, Steve Arterburn, Dr. Des Cummings, and Dr. Monica Reed. During the simulcast we will share important information about the Creation Health Church Ministry, a new health network for support and resource access. This initiative will not only cast a vision for personal involvement, but will provide resources, on-line access, participation in a network with like-minded faith communities, sermon examples, bulletin inserts, on-line trainings, healthy tips and many other tools – all designed for use within your church for health ministry.
We believe that the most effective lifestyle changes happen within caring communities where people find unconditional love and support. It is in local churches – these divinely designed bodies of believers – that transformation can take place. We look forward to working together with local churches as we heal our communities. For reservation and more information, please contact the Florida Hospital Parish Nursing office at (863) 386-6421 or email Suzanne.Crews@AHSS.org.
